Dr. James Powell
Hello, I am Dr. Jim Powell. After graduating from Purdue in 1978 and moving here from Indiana, I was the youngest veterinarian in West Pasco. While this may no longer be the case, I can honestly say that I still love my job. I co-founded All Pets Hospital in 1982 and will be here until they run me out. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Denise, since 1983 and have three gorgeous daughters: Rachel, Natalie, and Robin, a granddaughter named Shelby and a grandson Austin. We have a house full with three cats, a bird, my wife's little dog Chloe, and our rescue dog Toby who likes to comes to work with me daily.

Incredibly caring and knowledgeable people here. We've worked mostly with Dr. Powell, and the rest of the staff is fantastic as well. At one point or another, we've brought them just about everything with four legs, and they always take the time to understand and diagnose the problem, respond quickly to crisis, and they have the skill to manage complex conditions. We'd been to most of the vets in the area previously and honestly most are pretty good... but these guys are exceptional.
